Opportunity
As an OPIR Systems Engineer on the team, you will translate customer IT needs and future goals into architecture plans, manage emerging satellite architectures for national security space programs, support cloud migration, integrate advanced technologies, modernize legacy systems, and mentor the next generation of developers.
Responsibilities• Translate IT requirements into architecture plans for national security space programs.
• Manage emerging satellite architectures and oversee implementation.
• Support cloud migration, technology integration, and legacy system modernization.
• Mentor and guide developers toward becoming solutions architects.
- 2+ years of experience with national security satellite systems for SIGINT or GEOINT.
- Experience with large DoD or IC satellite ground systems, including OPIR.
- Experience with mission systems and interfacing with mission management planners and operators on a technical level.
- Knowledge of mission needs and conveying capabilities of software platforms.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Top Secret clearance.
- Experience with satellite mission management systems.
- Experience developing solutions in classified Cloud environments in the Intelligence Community or DoD.
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
- Experience with Linux and Cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of Agile and Dev Sec Ops software development.
- Knowledge of automation techniques or artificial intelligence and machine learning.
- Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph exam.
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Top Secret clearance is required.
Compensation$69,400.00 to $ annualized USD, depending on location, experience, and contractual requirements. Salary is one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package.
