At GCI, we solve the hard problems. As a SME Software Developer, a typical day will include the following duties/skills:

Required Skills:

* Demonstrated experience with IT Project Management, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, and Software Development

* Experience with Agile requirements management and sprint planning for technical IT development teams

* Proficiency with Agile project management tools and repositories (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Git Hub)

* Effective communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders and customer leadership

* Experience facilitating requirements discussions and stakeholder interviews; ensuring documentation, coordination, analysis, traceability, verification, and validation of IT system requirements

* Experience architecting and designing enterprise IT systems for mission use

* Experience designing and developing Sec Dev Ops  pipelines supporting CI/CD microservices on cloud infrastructure using tools such as Ansible, Git Hub, and Jenkins

* Familiarity with customer's Sec Dev Ops  tools (CI/CD, code repositories, testing suites)

* Application of security policy, counterintelligence, and security controls to systems

* Troubleshooting support for IT systems within the Intelligence Community (IC) environment

* Operation, maintenance, and system administration for cloud infrastructure, servers, and environments

* Experience with object‑oriented programming languages, relational and No

SQL databases, IT system testing, and configuration management

* Use of IT operational status tools such as AWS; implementation of monitoring and logs (Splunk dashboards, Elastic Search, Service Now)

* Programming experience with Angular
