* *** National Security Solutions – Space Systems (Graduate) Intern******, you will:
**** Identify specific problems in the context of emerging network systems
* Develop an appropriate system model and explore the network interconnection problem through the focused lens of quality of service (QoS)
* Create a simulation environment capable of modeling networks of networks
* Devise performance metrics and methods to evaluate the metrics
* Devise and implement alternative networking approaches for comparison

Selected interns for this paid opportunity will be provided with the opportunity to mentor with experienced professionals, gain experience and establish a name for themselves in this high demand career field.
** Required Skillset:
*** Graduate level student (MS / PhD)
* Electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science degree program
* At least one graduate level course in Computer Networking or Wireless Communications
* Proficiency in one of C/C++, Python, or Java Scheduled Weekly

Hours:

Average 40 hours per week, 10 weeks in duration during the period of Summer 2026
** Requirement:
*** Must be a US Citizen
* Must pass a Security Pre-Screen and have the ability to obtain a security clearance
* Letter of recommendation from graduate committee chair or graduate advisor
