The Opportunity:

As a Dev Ops engineer on our team, you'll use your development experience to streamline the sof tware development life cycle in a multi-cloud Kubernetes environment. Together with a team of experienced professionals, you will support the building and maintenance of a Dev Sec Ops  pipeline using the latest open-source technologies. You will use Infrastructure as Code ( IaC ) to automate everything from configuration management to infrastructure provisioning.

Using your sof tware engineering knowledge, you will work with your team to bring other organizations on board with Dev Ops and champion the adoption of related processes, tools, and roles. Join our team as we build tools to transform the future of the intelligence community.

You Have:

• 2+ years of experience developing tools and processes to drive Dev Ops or Dev Sec Ops  maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
• 2+ years of experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues for CI / CD pipeline failures or slowness
• 2+ years of experience developing, deploying, and managing cloud applications, including AWS
• 1+ years of experience deploying and managing applications within Kubernetes
• Experience developing multi-tenant enterprise cloud-native solutions
• Experience working with application development teams across the sof tware development life cycle and creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment
• Top Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of start date

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with scripting or object-oriented programming in Bash, Python, Groovy, or Golang
• Experience with Kubernetes Operators, Rancher, and RKE2
• Experience using or managing ArgoCD, Grafana, or Elastic Search
• Experience with Jenkins or Git Lab Runners
• Experience with Terragrunt, Pulumi, or Crossplane
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer Certification
• Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;
Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $ (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
