Overview
We are seeking a Desktop Support Team Lead for a short‑term (2‑week onsite) engagement to support the early phase of a large‑scale system implementation. This role will lead a small team of technicians focused on asset inventory and documentation, while also contributing hands‑on to the project.
Project Details- Duration: 2 weeks (5 days onsite)

Late June / Early July - Scope:
Oversee and execute detailed inventory of IT devices and peripherals
- Lead and support a team of desktop technicians performing asset inventory
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all device and peripheral data captured in Excel
- Monitor team productivity, progress, and adherence to project timelines
- Perform hands‑on inventory work alongside the team as needed
- Serve as the main point of contact onsite, ensuring professionalism in all user interactions
- Collaborate with stakeholders and provide updates on project status and metrics
- Strong desktop support experience
- Prior team lead or supervisory experience
- Strong experience with PC hardware and desktop environments
- Advanced attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, structured environment with strict documentation requirements
Contract position based out of Chantilly, VA.
Pay And BenefitsPay range: $35.00 per hour.
