IT Project Manager, Systems Analyst
For our client, we are seeking a Contractor Program Manager (cpm) to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This role will drive complex programs from planning through execution with a focus on structure, accountability, and measurable delivery. You will work across business leaders, delivery teams, and strategic partners to align priorities, manage dependencies, and keep initiatives on track.
The position offers the opportunity to bring clarity to complex work and deliver outcomes that matter across the organization within a Aerospace & Defense environment.
Location:
Chantilly, VA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $225,000 – $290,000 annually
Responsibilities- Own and manage the end-to-end performance of all contract Task Orders
- Lead seamless transitions of legacy contracts with no disruption
- Develop and maintain Program and Security Plans; deliver status reports on schedule
- Supervise Task Order Leads and resource plan across multiple teams
- Drive improvements aligned with the customer's Agile Maturity Plan
- Serve as primary contact for contracting representatives and deliver executive briefings
- Manage subcontractor relations and maintain compliance with contract terms
- 16+ years of relevant experience, including 10 years in federal IT or systems engineering program management
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business
- 5 years of specialized experience in Federal Government enterprise system management
- Demonstrated experience in leading contract transitions and knowledge transfer
- Working fluency in Agile delivery and backlog management
- Hands-on experience with AWS-hosted applications and Sec Dev Ops tools
- Exceptional communication skills with a track record of engaging senior stakeholders
