The Opportunity:

As a scrum master, you’ll be passionate about outcomes and supporting a development team that’s securing critical projects. You’ll play a key role in applying Agile best practices, coaching the team to focus on sprint goals, and ensuring the project progresses successfully. You’ll work with tools like JIRA to strengthen sustainable process improvements during sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, directly impacting Space missions.

• Coach development teams on Agile principles and Scrum practices.
• Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Identify and remove routine impediments to keep work flowing.
• Use JIRA to support tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure sprint goals align with mission objectives.

• 2+ years of experience in software development in a professional or academic setting.
• Experience gathering and documenting technical and business requirements.
• Proficiency with JIRA.
• Experience delivering client solutions and working with senior‑level client management.
• Ability to teach technical teams basic Agile framework concepts.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Knowledge of project management frameworks.
• Experience with agency or intelligence community and IT infrastructures.
• Excellent problem‑solving, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Master’s degree.
• Certifications:
  
  Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA‑Security, or GSEC.

The projected annualized salary range for this position is $62,000.00 to $, based on location, qualifications, experience, and organizational factors.
