This position requires access to customer data;
Must be a U.S. citizen. SAP NS2 does not offer Visa sponsor ships for this role. All internals must have manager’s approval to transfer.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
SAPNS2 is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed professional to fill the role of a functional application architect in Chantilly, VA. The ideal candidate works well with a team and has the desire and aptitude to learn new software, cloud applications and information technology concepts. This role is part of a broader team implementing and maintaining SAP enterprise software solutions. As a functional consultant you will work closely with customer end users and developers to translate current processes into requirements for configuration and development of new functionality Work with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements for new software applications Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance Serve as a liaison between technical team and the stakeholders Designing and developing new functions or improving existing ones Gather and analyze requirements to design or enhance new processes to improve user experience.
Interface with senior leadership for guidance on information strategy, vision, and priorities Create documentation such as requirements specifications, test scripts, user guides, and help files. Perform quality assurance testing of new software releases to ensure that they meet stated requirements. Provide technical support to end users and helping them troubleshoot issues with software applications.
Preferred Qualifications 2-5years, working as part of a team as a consultant; to Intel customers a plus
Prior experience with enterprise software or cloud applications, e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, AWS, Google
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, or Engineering (e.g., Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems), or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
