Janus Soft is seeking an elite, mission-focused Service Now Developer to architect and build an integrated enterprise IT support model. In this highly visible role, you will drive technological efficiencies across the talent management space, directly addressing strategic mission requirements associated with learning, training compliances, foreign language development and retention, job advertisements, and workforce performance.
You will be instrumental in modernizing web-based applications, systems, and service components to increase the speed and quality of delivery while significantly reducing Operations & Maintenance (O&M) overhead. By championing Agile methodologies and industry best practices, you will enhance the User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) across critical platforms. If you excel at designing and deploying Service Now solutions, managing tiered IT support, and translating complex business goals into seamless digital workflows, we want you on our team.
Mandatory Skills
Security Clearance:
Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
Service Now Expertise:
Demonstrated experience developing, analyzing, and documenting Service Now applications and associated interfaces, including databases and web services/APIs to guide future development.
Web & Application Development:
Demonstrated experience analyzing, documenting, and developing modern web-based application components, emphasizing UX/UI improvements, O&M reduction, and digital transformation.
Agile & Best Practices:
Proven ability to implement industry best practices and technical solutions consistent with accessibility standards and Agile methodologies, including extensive use of Jira.
Data & Reporting:
Experience interfacing with web-based databases and providing comprehensive report generation.
Version Control:
Hands-on experience with version control software such as Git Hub or Subversion.
IT Service Management:
Demonstrated experience managing Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 support using enterprise service management systems.
Technical Documentation:
Demonstrated experience developing comprehensive IT support documents, including SOPs, digital IT workflows, IT knowledge bases, pre- and post-deployment checklists, architectural diagrams, system security plans, and administrative processes.
Desired Skills
Mission & Domain Experience
Experience working directly with the Sponsor and partner IT organizations.
Familiarity with specialized mission applications, specifically those focused on learning, language development, compliance, and performance management.
Advanced Technical Capabilities
Demonstrated experience with cloud technologies, networking, and platform hosting environments.
Deep understanding of copyright and accessibility compliance standards, specifically WCAG 2.0 AA.
Experience utilizing Tableau for advanced data visualization and analytics.
