We are seeking a Platform Engineer to design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure that powers enterprise applications and services. This role focuses on building secure, scalable, and highly available platform solutions using modern cloud-native technologies, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Dev Sec Ops best practices.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with container orchestration, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure, along with a passion for improving platform reliability, security, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise platform infrastructure supporting mission-critical applications and services
Build, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters and containerized application environments
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and management
Develop and maintain configuration management solutions using Ansible and Puppet
Administer and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments
Deploy, manage, and maintain Kubernetes applications using Helm
Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support automated application delivery
Implement Dev Sec Ops best practices by integrating security throughout the software development and deployment lifecycle
Manage AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, roles, and permissions to ensure secure access to cloud resources
Monitor platform performance, availability, and security while identifying opportunities for optimization and automation
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, container, and deployment issues across development and production environments
Collaborate with software developers, security engineers, and operations teams to deliver scalable and reliable platform solutions
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance platform performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
Must be fully cleared with a recent polygraph
Must be willing and able to work fully onsite at the location listed in this posting

Qualifications

Experience designing and supporting Kubernetes-based infrastructure
Strong knowledge of Dev Sec Ops principles and secure software delivery practices
Hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible and Puppet
Strong administration experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
Experience deploying and managing applications using Helm
Experience with container management technologies and containerized application deployments
Experience designing, implementing, and supporting CI/CD pipelines
Experience managing AWS IAM roles, policies, and security controls
Strong troubleshooting, automation, and infrastructure optimization skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional engineering teams
Kubernetes certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer
Dev Sec Ops or Infrastructure Automation certifications
Experience supporting large-scale cloud environments
Experience working with highly available, enterprise-grade production systems
Familiarity with cloud security, compliance, and infrastructure monitoring best practices
