Location: Chantilly, VA
Clearance: TS/SCI, TS/SCI CI or TS/SCI Full Scope Accepted
Salary: $210,000-$250,000
OverviewOur sponsor is seeking two highly skilled AI/ML Subject Matter Experts who also bring strong experience in Computer Network Operations (CNO) development
. The ideal candidate will be deeply knowledgeable in artificial intelligence and machine learning while having direct, hands‑on experience developing CNO capabilities. This role supports mission‑focused efforts to design, prototype, and operationalize advanced AI/ML solutions aligned with CNO requirements.
- Serve as the senior technical expert in AI/ML for mission systems and projects.
- Design, train, and evaluate machine learning models to support or enhance CNO capabilities.
- Apply AI/ML methods to problems involving network data, cyber operations, and automation.
- Collaborate with CNO development teams to integrate ML‑driven capabilities into tools or workflows.
- Support research, prototyping, and testing of next‑generation CNO solutions.
- Analyze complex datasets and provide actionable technical insights.
- Produce high‑quality documentation, briefings, and technical recommendations.
- Extensive hands‑on experience designing and implementing AI/ML models and pipelines.
- Some direct experience with CNO development
, including building, modifying, or enhancing CNO tools or capabilities. - Proficiency in Python and common ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, Tensor Flow, scikit‑learn).
- Strong understanding of cyber operations, network protocols, and security concepts.
- Ability to work with sensitive or classified systems (as required by sponsor).Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience applying AI/ML to cyber defense, network analysis, or operational cyber problems.
- Background supporting IC, DoD, or national security missions.
- Advanced degree in computer science, cybersecurity, data science, engineering, or related fields.
- Familiarity with large‑scale data engineering, distributed computing, or specialized ML domains.
