The Space and Intelligence Division provides professional services to the United States Space Force, Combatant Commands, Intelligence Community, and NASA. Our work includes enterprise architectural assessments, systems engineering and integration, test, planning and execution, cost estimating and analysis, acquisition support, and cybersecurity. We are trusted partners developing approaches and concepts to meet emerging high priority needs, assessing cutting‑edge technologies, and supporting capabilities for our national defense.

The Intelligence Programs Group (IPG), part of SPA’s Space and Intelligence Division, specializes in systems engineering and advisory services to the Space and National Intelligence community. We provide highly technical support to ensure the government acquires cutting‑edge technology necessary for national defense.

Automation & Analytic Modeling Engineer

• Develop, implement, and optimize advanced analytic modeling, automation, and data processing solutions to accelerate the extraction of actionable insights from GEOINT and related intelligence data sources.
• Enhance mission effectiveness, improve collection strategies, and reduce the time required to deliver meaningful intelligence to end users.
• Create unconventional approaches that advance program objectives and enable data‑driven decision‑making across complex operational environments.

• US Citizenship with TS/SCI + Poly clearance at date of application (Discuss specific polygraph requirements with an SPA Talent Acquisition professional).
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Geospatial Science, or a related technical discipline.
• 9+ years of experience supporting intelligence, defense, national security, or GEOINT‑related programs.
• Strong experience using analytic modeling tools and techniques to derive actionable insights from GEOINT, geospatial, imagery, or intelligence data.
• Experience developing and implementing automated collection, processing, exploitation, and analytic workflows.
• Strong understanding of GEOINT data sources, collection methodologies, and intelligence analysis processes.
• Experience with scripting and automation technologies such as Python, R, MATLAB, Java, or similar languages.
• Ability to report to designated work location in Chantilly, VA on a full‑time basis.

• Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Geospatial Science, or related field.
• Experience supporting National Security Space, GEOINT, ISR, or intelligence community programs.
• Experience integrating commercial and government analytic platforms into operational workflows.

Base salary: USD $150,000 / yr – $190,000 / yr (pay‑transparency range). Compensation also includes variable incentives.
