Are You a Dev Ops Engineer Ready to Build Secure Automation and Cloud Infrastructure Supporting Mission-Critical Operations?
QSSHire is seeking a Dev Ops Engineer to support the development, automation, and sustainment of secure development and deployment environments across on-premises infrastructure and AWS cloud services. This role focuses on implementing modern Dev Ops practices, containerized solutions, CI/CD automation, and cloud technologies to accelerate software delivery while maintaining secure, reliable, and scalable enterprise environments.

In This Role, You'll:

• Design, build, and maintain secure Dev Ops environments supporting mission-critical applications.

• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate application builds, testing, deployment, and release processes.

• Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications using modern container technologies.

• Support development and production environments across secure on-premises infrastructure and AWS cloud services.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployments, and system configuration.

• Collaborate with software developers to streamline development workflows and improve deployment efficiency.

• Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot deployment issues, and optimize system reliability.

• Implement Dev Sec Ops  best practices by integrating security throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Support pilot programs and emerging technology initiatives by building flexible and scalable development environments.

• Maintain development tools, automation frameworks, and operational documentation.

• Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and engineering teams to improve platform stability and operational efficiency.

You'll Succeed Here If You Have:

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph required to start.

• Professional experience supporting Dev Ops engineering or software deployment environments.

• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or similar platforms.

• Experience supporting AWS cloud environments and cloud-native services.

• Experience automating infrastructure and application deployments.

• Experience supporting Linux-based development environments.

• Strong scripting, automation, and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills within Agile engineering teams.

Skills:

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation, or Ansible).

• Experience implementing Dev Sec Ops  practices and secure software delivery pipelines.

• Experience supporting Kubernetes or container orchestration platforms.

• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Git Lab CI/CD, or similar Dev Ops toolsets.

• Experience supporting hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.

• AWS certifications or other cloud-related certifications.

• Experience supporting secure or classified environments.

Degree Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
