What Impact You'll Have
GRVTY provides tactical data engineering solutions. We embed skilled Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Dev Ops Engineers, and ETL Developers directly into intelligence analyst groups to be their go-to data wranglers. We develop new tools, code, and services that execute data engineering activities. Our engineers collect, process, and feed analytic tools, turning data into intelligence in response to immediate mission needs, with direct impact on real world situations.
You will see your work used here on a daily basis, and you'll have the opportunity to support a variety of Sponsor mission organizations and mission partner organizations.
GRVTY is seeking a Dev Ops Engineer with a TS/SCI + Poly clearance (applicable to this customer) to join one of our top projects in Chantilly, VA. The Dev Ops Engineer will leverage the latest industry Dev Ops tools and containerization processes to provide and maintain a Dev Ops and development environment that supports production efforts and pilot programs within the organization’s secure and low-side environments, on-premises equipment, and AWS cloud services.
WhatYou Must Have
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance (applicable to this customer)
- 5+ years and a Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, and work/military experience
- 2+ years of Kubernetes and Docker experience
- 2+ years of experience building custom container images and platforms
- Strong understanding of Dev Ops and software/application development processes
- 2+ years of experience building Git Lab CI/CD pipelines to build, scan, and deploy custom container images
- Understanding of Python, Bash, or other scripting languages to automate builds
- Experience working in AWS cloud services environments
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must possess excellent time management skills and the drive to work unsupervised
- Experience with deploying to on prem/data center infrastructure
- Experience using Jira and Confluence

Virginia Pay Range: $150,000 — $200,000 USD
