Your contributions will be pivotal in designing and optimizing defense systems that ensure national security and shape the future of space defense.
- Support Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Authority to Operate (ATO) activities, reciprocity initiatives, and continuous monitoring strategies.
- Provide guidance on zero‑trust planning, identity, segmentation, encryption, and secure access patterns.
- Advise on incident response processes, vulnerability management, and security operations improvements.
- Integrate security into Dev Sec Ops development pipelines and acquisition planning.
- Develop metrics, dashboards, and briefs for reporting to executive leadership.
- Ensure role is contingent upon contract award.
- Current and active TOP SECRET / SCI security clearance.
- Experience advising executive leadership on cybersecurity strategy, governance, and risk management for complex enterprises.
- Experience with security frameworks and concepts (RMF, NIST CSF/800‑53, zero trust, identity and access management).
- Experience improving ATO processes and promoting reciprocity.
- Experience developing security policies/standards and implementation guidance.
- Education:
Master’s Degree or higher in Business or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and 6 years of experience; or Bachelor’s Degree in Business or STEM and 8 years of experience; or High School Diploma and 12 years of experience.
- Experience overseeing incident response planning, vulnerability management, and security monitoring concepts.
- Experience integrating cybersecurity into acquisition and system engineering (security‑by‑design Dev Sec Ops ).
- Experience briefing senior leaders and coordinating across multiple organizations.
Basic Compensation: $160,200–$195,800 (Washington DC Metro Area only). The offered rate will be based on the candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional CompensationK may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
