K ’s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security.
This is a contingent position based upon contract award. K is seeking a highly qualified candidate to act as Team Lead for a team supporting the Chief Information Office (CIO) at a government customer in the Northern Virginia area by assisting in the engineering and management of information technology (IT) efforts supporting Counterintelligence (CI) missions.
Primary Responsibilities- Manage, plan and direct the execution of the contractual, technical, engineering, programming, maintenance, and administrative efforts of the team.
- Brief leadership on program progress, status, and achievement of milestones.
- Serve as the primary interface to customers on technical and project issues.
- Supervise, manage, support, and evaluate personnel.
- Current and active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
- 4+ years of experience managing projects providing enterprise IT Operation and Maintenance (O&M) support and IT enhancement projects.
- Experience providing technical support materials for senior leaders such as strategic papers, options analyses, and executive briefings.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics, software engineering, or related technical field and 8 years of experience, or high school diploma and 12 years of experience.
- Experience translating mission priorities into actionable IT roadmaps, investment plans, and measurable outcomes related to counterintelligence and security missions.
Basic Compensation: $156,500 - $191,200 (Washington DC Metro Area only). The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and internal parity.
