Cyber Security Analyst
Open to candidates with an active TS/SCI with Poly clearance.
Key Tasks- Provide specialized support in cyber security and systems architecture, including ISSE/A&A, strategic planning, Dev Sec Ops , management, and new product evaluation.
- Assist a sponsor in shepherding multiple IT systems through the Assessment and Accreditation (A&A) processes.
- Demonstrate experience leading security accreditation efforts for enterprise systems.
- Demonstrate experience with security engineering and network engineering.
- Analyze and document test results.
- Assess systems against information assurance policies and regulations.
- Implement and design cyber security solutions.
- Provide customer A&A workflow experience and knowledge of the Risk Management Framework.
- Deliver complex technical solutions in fluid operating environments, including access management, encryption, process improvements, organisational change recommendations, and direct collaboration with the customer cyber security office.
- Analyze security threats and exploits, draw conclusions, and prioritise remediation activities.
- Apply knowledge of systems and security engineering, software development lifecycle, Dev Sec Ops , and customer cyber security rules, regulations, policies and standards.
- Show expertise in network design, security architecture, and identifying security gaps with proposed solutions.
- Assess patch and vulnerability management, provisioning, and terrain management and assist with process improvement.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences, including senior leaders.
- Experience with offensive security practices.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
Salary range in Maryland: $128,000 to $270,000, negotiated based on experience and qualifications.
