Position: DevSecOps Scrum Master (All levels)

Redwire is an innovative space and defense technology company driving advanced capabilities across the aerospace sector. We are looking for a leader who can contribute to concept of operations development, mission solution design, and strategic analysis for spacecraft programs supporting National Security Space. This includes work spanning space domain awareness, space resiliency, mission autonomy, structures, sensors, and next-generation space systems.

The Dev Sec Ops  Scrum Master is a facilitator and coach who ensures that the Scrum framework is properly implemented and followed within a team. They work closely with the product owner and development team to guide the team through Agile practices, foster collaboration, and maintain focus on delivering value during each sprint. This role blends deep Dev Ops expertise, Linux and Kubernetes mastery, and system‑level engineering judgment.

Leads cross‑team and guides team members on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and effective collaboration.

Major Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies – Organize and lead daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Remove impediments – Identify and eliminate obstacles that hinder team progress, both internal and external.
  • Coach and mentor – Guide team members on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and effective collaboration.
  • Support team self‑organization – Encourage autonomy and accountability within the team while promoting transparency.
  • Monitor progress – Track sprint goals, manage Scrum boards, and analyze metrics such as burndown charts to ensure timely delivery.
  • Conflict resolution – Address team disagreements and facilitate constructive communication.
  • Stakeholder collaboration – Work with stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Continuous improvement – Identify areas for process enhancement and implement best practices.
Ideal Experience
  • STEM foundation – Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent STEM degree.
  • Dev Ops experience – 5-8 years in Dev Ops, infrastructure automation, or platform engineering.
  • Agile methodologies – Strong knowledge of Scrum framework.
  • Excellent communication – Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to facilitate meetings, resolve conflicts, and coach teams.
  • Dev Sec Ops  practices – Expertise in secrets management, supply‑chain security, segmentation, and compliance.
  • Technical leadership – Ability to lead initiatives, collaborate across teams, and mentor engineers. Experience with project management tools such as Asana, Confluence, Jira, and/or Cameo.
  • Enterprise‑grade CI/CD – Experience designing and scaling CI/CD pipelines and cross‑service build orchestration. Deep experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cluster hardening, and operator development.
Desired Skills
  • Cloud certifications – Azure, AWS, or GCP Solutions Architect or equivalent.
  • Git Ops workflows – Experience with ArgoCD, Flux, or similar tooling.
  • Hybrid/multicloud architecture – Designing hybrid or multicloud operational environments.
  • Modeling & simulation compute – Supporting compute environments for simulation or digital‑engineering workloads.
  • Regulated industry experience – Aerospace, defense, or other high‑compliance domains.
  • Infrastructure security & compliance – Security tooling, auditing frameworks, automated policy enforcement.
  • Open source contributions – Dev Ops or infrastructure‑related projects.
Additional Requirements
  • Crossteam collaboration – Navigating priorities, articulating tradeoffs, and advocating for engineering standards.
  • Security eligibility – U.S. citizen required; must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred). Qualified individuals may also be lawful permanent residents or protected individuals under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3) and must be eligible to obtain the required authorizations.
