AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, supporting all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that keep the cloud running.
We’re looking for an Infrastructure Delivery Installation Technician to join our growing team within infrastructure operations. You will work with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment, driving the stability and sustainability of our next‑generation networks and developing innovative ways to automate and scale our network.
Physical Requirements- Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds.
- Work in a 24/7 environment, including primary responder rotation and after‑hours support as needed.
- Operate in cramped, elevated, and/or noisy environments.
- Bend, lift, stretch, reach, stand, and walk for up to 8+ hours a day.
- Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation.
- Move and implement large enterprise equipment.
- Install fiber and copper cabling and patch cables between equipment.
- Ensure safety and security standards are maintained during cabling and rack installation.
- Follow well‑established hardware installation procedures and perform break‑fix activities.
- Safely use material handling tools and equipment.
- Travel within and outside the regional work area as required.
- High school or equivalent diploma.
- 2+ years of experience in computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, data center operations, or technical project management.
- Technical aptitude with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to deal effectively with people in a wide variety of situations.
- Experience with medium to large, complex project scopes and ambiguous details within a work environment.
- Industry‑standard certifications (CompTIA, CCENT, Network+).
- Knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment.
- Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.
- Knowledge of major command‑line protocols (Cisco IOS, JunOS, GNU/Linux) and common networking protocols (BGP, OSPF).
- Ability to work independently and with a team; strong work prioritization, organizational skills, effective communication, and quick reaction.

SalaryHourly salary range: 30.00 – 54.00 USD.
