SAP Finance - Tech Consulting - Product Costing - Manager

• Lead the translation of business requirements into technical specifications.
• Evaluate and ensure alignment of technology solutions with business objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in processes and solutions.
• Manage risk, deliver high‑quality processes or projects, maintain billable client charging, lead delivery streams, manage projects, and engage with external clients daily.
• Lead and supervise professional employees or teams to achieve complex technical initiatives.
• Oversee project delivery and client engagement, with travel possibly required based on client needs.

• Lead and deliver quality SAP projects or work streams, initiating requirement gathering, architecting solutions, blueprinting, testing, workflow, documentation, and functional design.
• Consistently deliver quality client services, monitor progress, manage risk, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Establish relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels.
• Demonstrate strong decision‑making skills in developing solutions for complex problems.
• Modify policies and establish procedures within the scope of work.
• Exercise sound judgment in selecting methods and criteria for obtaining results.
• Possess a functional understanding of system development lifecycle and technology business architecture frameworks.

• A Bachelor's degree.
• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience working with SAP Controlling focused on Product Costing, with exposure to different production strategies (Make‑to‑Stock, Make‑to‑Order), overhead cost accounting, integrated financial planning, margin analysis, universal allocations, and integration with other modules affecting Product Costing results.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills.
• Experience managing an SAP project or workstream and project-based team members, with desirable hybrid onshore/offshore delivery model experience.
• Deep knowledge of cost accounting processes and ability to understand, communicate, and deliver complex reporting requirements specific to the client.
• Knowledge of product costing leading practices, peer company environments, and prior advisory experience relevant to specific finance and technology functions.
• Detailed knowledge of costing variants and result analysis configuration, strong knowledge of material ledger functionalities, and product costing typical requirements in other countries.
• Proficiency in cost center planning in S/4
  
  HANA and ECC, and deep knowledge of available standard tools for building reports.
• Understanding of parallel ledgers, parallel valuation functionalities, and integration with Controlling.

• Proficiency with one or more S4
  
  HANA SAP FICO, PP or MM modules.
• Ability and comfort level researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies.
• Experience developing functional specifications and strong system configuration experience.
• Relationship management, negotiation, critical thinking, and emotional agility.
• A willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 80%.

• Prior consulting industry experience.
• SAP certifications.
• Specific SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Professional – Financials in SAP S/4
  
  HANA).
• Experience with at least three full‑cycle implementations of your core module.
• Additional qualifications that enhance your ability to succeed in this role, such as additional SAP Finance certificates or prior industry experience in accounting departments, and leading cross‑functional teams.
• A proactive approach to problem‑solving and decision‑making.
