What You’ll AchieveThe Solution Architect plays a strategic, high-impact role at the IDIQ level, embedded within the PMO and serving as the lead architect across multiple task orders and product lines. In this role, you will:
Serve as the single, trusted focal point for application portfolio rationalization across the IDIQ, driving consistency and alignment among multiple projects and teams
Provide architectural leadership across multiple task orders and product lines, ensuring solutions are cohesive, scalable, and aligned with enterprise priorities
Proactively identify opportunities to consolidate and modernize applications, reduce technical duplication, and simplify the technical environment
Evaluate and recommend emerging and existing technologies that improve performance, security, user experience, and mission outcomes for the customer.
Guard against the adoption of competing or redundant technologies by driving alignment to an enterprise-wide vision and standards
Lead and influence the implementation of the Sponsor’s unified systems roadmap across product lines, systems, and services at the IDIQ level
Ensure solutions consistently comply with Sponsor standards, architectures, and long-term strategies, while balancing innovation with risk and cost
In addition, you will help shape and execute our strategy for integrating AI‑enabled tools and capabilities into the development lifecycle by identifying opportunities for automation, improving developer productivity, and advising on responsible, mission‑aligned AI adoption.
This position is ideal for architects who enjoy shaping enterprise technology direction at scale, partnering closely with the PMO, and driving measurable improvements across a broad portfolio of complex, mission‑critical initiatives.
How You’ll Make an ImpactExperience analyzing and rationalizing IT portfolio-based platform(s) (cloud applications, hardware, software) to support enhancements to current applications and systems; as well as streamlining and consolidating stacks
Experience and knowledge of various architecture patterns such as microservices
Experience with designing and implementing cloud-based solutions
Experience architecting solutions for Salesforce and Service Now
Experience in developing/supporting complex technical solutions.
Experience and familiarity integrating with emerging technologies into an enterprise framework
Mentor and coach engineers on Dev Sec Ops , agile delivery, and automation best practices.
Stay current with industry trends, tools, and practices in Dev Sec Ops , CI/CD, cloud platforms, containers, and serverless, and recommend improvements.
Program Delivery Oversight
Monitor team roadmaps and delivery milestones
Identify blockers and risks impacting delivery
Conduct root cause analysis when teams miss objectives
Identify and implement process improvements
Translate technical issues into executive-level communications
Participate in Monthly Program Management Reviews (PMRs) - delivery health and risk reporting
Technical Advisory
Serve as technical advisor to division leadership on strategic initiatives
Participate in executive meetings requiring deep technical expertise
Bridge communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
