Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced
Epic Care Ambulatory Analyst
to join our healthcare IT team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, supporting, and optimizing the Epic Care Ambulatory module. This role involves collaborating with physicians, clinicians, operational stakeholders, and cross-functional technical teams to improve outpatient clinical workflows and deliver high-quality patient care solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, maintain, and support the Epic Care Ambulatory application.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and clinical requirements from ambulatory care stakeholders.
  • Design, build, test, validate, and deploy Epic Care Ambulatory enhancements and system changes.
  • Support outpatient clinical workflows, provider documentation, patient encounters, order management, and clinical decision support.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely production support.
  • Participate in Epic implementations, system upgrades, optimization initiatives, and enhancement projects.
  • Perform unit testing, integrated testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Develop and maintain build documentation, workflow diagrams, technical specifications, and user documentation.
  • Collaborate with other Epic application analysts to ensure seamless integration with MyChart, Cadence, Prelude, Orders, and other Epic modules.
  • Ensure all configurations comply with Epic best practices, organizational standards, and healthcare regulations.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience
    with the
    Epic Care Ambulatory
    module.
  • Epic Care Ambulatory Certification is mandatory.
  • Experience in Epic build, configuration, implementation, testing, and production support.
  • Strong understanding of outpatient clinical workflows, provider documentation, patient care processes, and ambulatory operations.
  • Experience supporting integrated Epic clinical applications.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Epic Care Ambulatory Certification (Mandatory)
  • Minimum3 years of relevant Epic Care Ambulatory experience

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in U.S. healthcare environments.
  • Knowledge of ambulatory clinic operations, outpatient workflows, clinical documentation, and patient care processes.
  • Experience integrating Epic Care Ambulatory with MyChart, Cadence, Prelude, Orders, and other Epic modules.
  • Understanding of Epic implementation methodology and healthcare interoperability.
  • Strong documentation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
