Service Now Developer

Chantilly, VA (fully on-site, no remote option)

Please note candidate must work the core hours of 0900 to 1500 hours.

Scope The client provides the technologies and services that training providers need to engage the workforce, deliver learning, and make business decisions. The client's mission is to create an integrated learning enterprise that fosters and efficiently delivers high quality learning to our workforce. Client teams maintain expertise in learning technologies, systems engineering, web design and web application development, software development, classroom IT support, registrar services, online delivery strategies, video production, and data analytics to achieve the mission.

Required Skill and Demonstrates

Experience:

• Demonstrates knowledge and experience with Service Now, managing workflow processes.
• Familiarity with MySQL.
• Familiarity with PHP Scripting.
• Demonstrates experience developing in an Agile environment.
• Demonstrates experience tracking issues in JIRA.
• Familiarity with systems installation and configuration support for Windows servers.
• Familiarity with developing web application programming interfaces (API).
• Familiarity with incorporating Infosec policies into requirements documentation.

Highly Desired Skills and Demonstrates

Experience:

• Familiarity with relational database programming such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, or other RDBMS.
• Demonstrates knowledge of client technical systems, security procedures and processes.
• Demonstrates experience providing briefings and briefing support on technical status of projects to office-level and group-level management.
• Demonstrates experience as a strong communicator with the ability to speak to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrates experience using excellent interpersonal and team building skills to enhance partnerships with diverse customer base, contractors, service delivery partners, or other stakeholders.
• Familiarity with either Linux or Windows operating environments.
• Demonstrates experience with Object Oriented programming.
• Demonstrates experience in the application of software project lifecycle principles including formal reviews and milestones.
• Demonstrates experience with knowledge of client learning enterprise technologies, applications and organizational structure.
• Demonstrates experience supporting a client schoolhouse.
