Position: 4499 Operations Support Engineer with Security Clearance
OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an Operations Support Engineer with experience in the IC domain, that is system-oriented and have a flair for working within a large-scale, sophisticated service-oriented architecture (SOA) environment. You will perform system health analysis, identify and analyze anomalies, collect preliminary data, recommend and effectively communicate solutions to problems to both government and contractor management. Additionally, you must be able to develop, coordinate and conduct low-level system tests with minimal direction.

You will provide input to management, subject to internal training curriculum, and provide training to more junior team members. GENERAL DUTIES:
* Ability to follow established processes & checklists with minimal supervision.
* Ability to understand & apply basic and advanced concepts to resolve minor issues as well as assist Senior level Technicians, Specialists & Managers.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* 0-5 years of technical experience with BS in a related field
* Willing to work rotating shifts (7x24)
* Knowledge of software programming and/or scripting concepts
* Basic networking knowledge
* Willing to obtain security certification (e.g., Security+)
* Unix/Linux skills
* Excellent oral and written communications skills
* Must pass training certification within 3-4 months
* Leadership potential
* Highly technically capable, willing to share knowledge with others DESIRED

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Domain expertise with IC community and/or systems that interact with GIMS
* Experience with relational database systems
* SQL experience
* Wily experience
* Web Logic experience
* Current security certification (e.g., Security+) CLEARANCE:
* Active Top Secret clearance minimum required
