Job Description
This is a leadership role overseeing a team of 7 to 10 field technicians, service specialists, coordinators, and inspectors in the fire alarm and life safety space. You will be responsible for service delivery, cost control, safety, and customer satisfaction across the local market. The hiring manager is specifically targeting veterans for the leadership foundation and discipline that comes with a military background.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead and supervise a team of approximately 7 to 10 field specialists, service specialists, coordinators, and inspectors
  • Manage resources, costs, safety, and quality assurance for service delivery and growth of the existing customer base
  • Execute customer service program commitments, time and material work, and parts sales
  • Train and mentor team members patiently while serving as a role model in the department
  • Apply financial analysis and cost control, including gross margin calculations, to drive results
Requirements
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and develop others; military leadership experience is highly valued
  • Experience or strong working knowledge of fire alarm, sprinkler, or low voltage life safety systems (1 to 2 years preferred, but willingness to learn matters more than years in the industry)
  • Solid communication, comprehension, and "likability" to lead a team that includes tenured personnel
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, Word, and Power Point
  • College degree, trade school, or equivalent experience
