Position: IT Project Manager (Full Scope Poly required)

Role Overview

This position manages customer project efforts and delivers exceptional customer service throughout the lifecycle of complex projects lasting approximately six months or longer. The Technical Program Manager represents Red River, maintains professionalism and responsiveness, and acts as the main point of contact for customers while managing day‑to‑day project activities. Success is measured by completing projects on time, on budget, and with exceptional customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the project throughout its life cycle based on customer‑defined requirements and processes.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, establish timelines, and build budgets.
  • Report on progress and provide regular updates to upper management.
  • Work with other departments to ensure project objectives are achieved within established time frames.
  • Coordinate between customer contacts, team resources, direct team members, partners, subcontractors, and stakeholders on all aspects of a project.
  • Manage partners or subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage the project budget, report burn rates, and track utilization to keep projects within budget allocation.
  • Provide detailed reporting to management on project development and translate metrics into actionable intelligence.
  • Centralize all project documents in the appropriate data stores as guided by the customer.
  • Manage expectations and track risks and benefits.
  • Communicate and gather required documentation on the project.
  • Quickly and efficiently document status, action items, and update project documents.
  • Lead meetings and manage attendees to control topics and agenda compliance.
  • Create presentations and deliver content in a highly effective and professional manner.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating processes.
  • Maintain industry certifications as required.
  • Support cost‑center growth efforts by identifying new business opportunities and driving pipeline development.
  • Other business duties as assigned.
Minimum Education /Certification/Experience Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in the project manager field or a related area.
  • Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
  • Bachelor‑level degree in management or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications.
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Teams and/or Web Ex.
  • Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Preferred Education/Certification/Experience
  • PMP Certification or master’s degree in project management.
  • AWS, Azure, or GCP Cloud Certification.
Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities
  • Proficient with SharePoint, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and MS Visio.
  • Creative and organized with a keen grasp on evaluating project activities and mitigating risks.
  • Capable of performing quality work within deadlines, with or without direct supervision.
  • Interacts professionally with employees, customers, and suppliers.
  • Works effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
  • Works independently while coordinating with other employees and organizations.
