What You’ll Get to DoThe Business Management Manager 1 will lead all financial aspects of programs within the Navigation, Intelligence & Connectivity Division, Cyber and Intelligence Business Unit, Strategic Intelligence and Data Exploitation Operating Unit (OU). This position reports to the OU Business Manager and partners with the program team to develop strategy, report on program performance, and achieve financial goals.
Roles and Responsibilities- Program resource management, including cost estimation, allocation, tracking, and analysis
- Subcontractor invoicing and funding
- Estimate‑at‑Complete (EAC) preparation and review
- Management and development of Program Control Analyst (PCA) staff
- Preparation and presentation of financial data to internal and external customers, including variance analysis and forecasts
- Compliance and financial reporting
- Ongoing collaboration with the customer and functional teams
- Review of contractual documents, including Technical Task Orders
- Assistance with contract negotiations
- Support of pricing and proposal activities
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of industry‑related experience in finance, accounting, or program control, or a Master’s degree with 3 years of experience in the same fields
- Working knowledge of Government Cost Accounting Standards and the FAR
- Prior experience with government program budgeting and forecasting, and Annual Operating Plan development
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP (or comparable systems)
- Experience preparing and presenting financial analysis to teams and/or management
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 10% of the time
- Current U.S. Government Secret security clearance
- MBA or CPA certification
- Experience with Earned Value Management
- Understanding of DOD contracts
- Previous experience managing or supervising a program, project, or personnel
- Experience with Cognos and 1
ERP systems
