• Champion safety by prioritizing safety throughout the operation, following MSHA and Vulcan standards, and reporting unsafe conditions immediately.
• Operate mobile equipment loaders to load aggregates for processing, feed the plant, and safely load customers’ trucks within legal load limits, and operate a loader to strip and prep the site and push material closer to the feeder for processing.
• Monitor materials by maintaining an adequate feed of materials and stockpiles, and visually inspecting materials for compliance with specifications.
• Perform inspections and maintenance, including thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, accurately completing daily mobile equipment reports, observing the plant and reporting necessary maintenance or adjustments, cleaning yard and plant areas, and participating in maintenance, repair, and general plant housekeeping activities.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years operating loaders and dozers in a plant environment.
• Functional and Safety Knowledge: Solid knowledge of equipment capabilities and specifications of finished materials, ability to recognize products by sight and understand proper plant operation, knowledge of OSHA and MSHA rules, and hazard recognition skills.
• Flexibility: Ability to work overtime, extended hours, outside in all weather conditions, and tolerate loud noises.
• Ready to Drive: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Hourly Range: $24.50 – $30.55. This range is not inclusive of discretionary bonus or equity package. Compensation considers skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
