As a Software and Systems Engineer, you will design and modernize cloud‑based data processing systems to support mission operations for the warfighter. Your role involves translating real‑world requirements into robust technical specifications, collaborating closely with customers, and delivering high‑quality engineering solutions that drive change.

• Design and architect cloud‑based software systems that meet customer mission requirements.
• Evaluate and modernize data processing pipelines in the cloud.
• Translate real‑world needs into technical specifications and documentation.
• Track and manage technical debt, risks, and opportunities at both tactical and strategic levels.
• Participate fully in Agile planning, execution, and support activities.

• Experience with Systems Engineering and Model‑Based Systems Engineering.
• Experience with Agile methodology, requirements definition, system documentation, and customer support.
• Ability to support missions through detailed, well‑written, government‑accepted documentation and requirements traceability.
• Proficiency in identifying and tracking technical debt, risks, and opportunities.
• Strong team‑oriented mindset and ability to engage in Agile planning and support.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a Security+ CE certification within six months of hire.

• Experience with cloud software development and backend testing.
• Knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and Visio graphics design.
• Experience with government contract data requirements, risk management processes, or best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Additional certifications such as Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA‑Security, or GSEC.

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary is determined by location, experience, and contract requirements, with a projected range of $69,400.00 to $ (annualized USD).
