Koniag Government Services is hiring a part time/as needed Marketing Coordinator to support our Mar Comm team.

The Marketing Coordinator supports the day-to-day execution of marketing and communications activities for Koniag Government Services. This role involves assisting in the development of marketing collateral, content and internal repositories to support business development and growth, managing social media content, and supporting internal and external communications. This role helps maintain the company's digital presence, coordinates event logistics and helps ensure brand consistency across all marketing collateral and communications channels.
Key Responsibilities- Content Creation & Management: Draft and review content for social media (Linked In), blogs, corporate Intranet, and website updates.
- Graphics Support: Develop, review, and update graphics for company communications and marketing materials; help maintain and organize graphics library for Marketing and Communications team assets
- Social Media & Digital Marketing: Help manage the company's social media calendar, update and post content and monitor engagement
- Event Support: Assist in the planning and execution of special events, webinars, and virtual or in-person outreach activities.
- Internal Communications: Support internal communications including posting and maintaining content on the corporate Intranet, and developing and managing employee engagement content
- Administrative Support: Maintain marketing supply inventory, organize digital assets, and assist with general office tasks.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, or a related field
- Experience: 1–3 years of marketing experience;
Government Contracting industry experience preferred - Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint. Experience with CRM platforms, design tools (Adobe Creative Suite), and CMS platforms (Word Press) required
- Communication
Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an understanding of AP Style preferred. Proven ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. - Creativity: A creative eye for design, photography, or videography is highly valued.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the federal procurement lifecycle and Government Contracting environment preferred
- Attention to Detail: High degree of accuracy in all work products with strong quality control mindset

Skills:
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
