Customer Service Rep, Retail Associate/ Customer Service
Overview
Primary responsibility is to take excellent care of our customers by satisfying each customer’s needs and exceeding their expectations. This requires accurately and effectively checking in DSD vendors and maintaining all documents and copies for proper accountability.
Essential Qualifications- Associates must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or G.E.D.; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to participate in and successfully complete required training and to work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos (in English).
- Ability to write simple correspondence in English.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates who only speak English.
- Mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide; calculate figures such as discounts and percentages.
- Reasoning ability: apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions; deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Completed company training including new hire orientation, customer service network, safety, vendor receiving technical skills training, and vendor receiving certification.
- Ability to use billing and accounting principles and processes.
- Regularly stand, walk, use hands to handle, reach, and talk or hear.
- Occasionally climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch; lift or move up to 30 pounds; reach from 6 to 72 inches.
- Exposure to wet, hot, or cold conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals; moderate noise level.

- Pay: $15.25/hour to $25.00/hour for the role as a newly hired associate. Pay may depend on experience and skill sets.
