Retail Scan Associate (Chantilly, VA 20151) – This is a permanent PART-TIME role.
Scan Scape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps throughout the store. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve the sales performance of the product and retailer (store).

Being a Retail Scan Associate offers an opportunity in retail, providing workplace independence, some flexibility in hours, and job consistency. There will be continuous physical activity throughout the workday shift.
Responsibilities- Visit designated stores weekly to scan product barcodes on displays, in aisles, and on end caps.
- Use a downloadable app on a mobile device to capture barcode data across store locations.
- Complete display scanning in the entire store; this work occurs weekly and may take multiple hours per store.
- Support clients with additional data requests (custom projects) that may add 1–2 hours of work per week per store.
- Adhere to weekly deadlines and deliver high-quality data to clients, with a focus on dependability and accuracy.
- Competitive compensation (16/hr).

- Paid travel at your hourly rate (minus first & last 15 minutes).

- At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
- Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
- Ability to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
- Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Self-starter with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Reliable Wi-Fi access and tech-savviness.
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
