Personal Banker

Position Overview

Personal Banker within PNC’s Retail Branch organization. Based in Centreville, VA.

PNC expects employees to be customer-focused, knowledgeable, and risk-aware.

• Acquire and deepen branch customer base through proactive sales and services.
• Manage customer experience and improve financial wellbeing.
• Drive new revenue and loyalty through sales conversations including outbound calling, teller interactions, lobby engagement.
• Deliver full PNC conversations to identify appropriate solutions.
• Leverage ecosystem partnerships and community Centers of Influence to acquire, expand, and retain relationships.
• Educate customers on options using technology, tools and resources.
• Apply product knowledge to solve customer problems and drive loyalty.
• Manage risk through adherence to policies, demonstrating sound judgment.
• Participate in daily branch operations.

• Associate’s degree or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in banking or related field.
• Preferred skills:
  Accountability, Banking, Client Loyalty, Customer Experience, Customer Service, Identifying Opportunities, Leveraging Technology, Proactive Sales, Retail Lending, Selling, Understanding Customer Needs.
• Preferred competencies:
  Banking Products, Digital Awareness, Effective Communications, Managing Multiple Priorities, Matrix Management, Problem Solving, Prospecting.
• Minimum required certifications:
  None; but background checks required.
• Licenses:
  None required.
