Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:
Day Time Thur 06:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
- Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity while assisting with visitor directions, policy questions, and other routine support needs.
- Support staff during security‑related situations such as visitor issues, parking concerns, and after‑hours access requests while maintaining professional communication and documentation.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
