Overview

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) delivers high‑impact technical solutions for national security challenges, serving U.S. government agencies including the Space Force, Combatant Commands, and NASA. SPA’s Space & Intelligence Division focuses on enterprise architecture, systems engineering, acquisition support, and cybersecurity, working with defense contractors and multidisciplinary teams to advance mission capabilities.

Senior PAG/CAG Analyst

SPA has an immediate need for a Senior PAG/CAG Analyst who will provide acquisition management, tasker management, planning, analysis, integration, and business operations support for the SBST mission area.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Support the Material Leader with acquisition planning for the SBST mission area.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary DoD technical teams and defense contractors.
  • Evaluate program and acquisition documentation for compliance with DoD, Department of the Air Force, and U.S. Space Force policies.
  • Conduct market research and provide acquisition strategy recommendations.
  • Support the organization and operation of Integrated Product Teams.
  • Analyze program progress against plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Manage taskers using TMT, ETMS, and related systems.
  • Prepare, review, proofread, and route electronic Staff Summary Sheets and senior‑leader staffing packages.
  • Track suspense actions and provide status updates to leadership.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • Active DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, Technology, Operations Research, or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in acquisition management, acquisition planning, program integration, or related DoD support
  • Expert knowledge of tasker management tools and processes, including TMT and ETMS
  • Experience preparing executive‑level staffing packages
  • Knowledge of DoD budgetary principles, acquisition processes, and analytical methods
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in time‑sensitive environments
  • Ability to report to designated work location in Chantilly, up to full time, based on the needs of the customer
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting U.S. Space Force, Space Systems Command, NRO, or national security space organizations
  • Experience supporting Program Executive Office or headquarters‑level acquisition environments
