Pay Rate: $21.05 / Hour

Job Schedule: Daytime Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a defense-related location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information when required, and follow post orders for controlled access areas.
• Support Allied Universal and site personnel by reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior that could impact operations or security-related conditions.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
