- Installing and maintaining electronic security systems.
- Performing preventive maintenance requirements.
- Performing inspections, evaluations, and inventory.
- Leading teams on large complex installation projects with limited supervision.
- Leading and documenting daily toolbox talks, ORMs and safety audits.
- Installing and maintaining equipment at both the local and global level per design packages.
- Programming and installing head‑end equipment for access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV systems.
- Troubleshooting and isolating both systems and/or hardware at both a local and global level.
- Leading on‑site software commissioning and testing.
- Leading inspections, evaluations, and inventory; performing take‑off project drawings; creating documents.
- Documenting and tracking RFIs.
- Design assist and feedback.
- Documenting daily reports and project progress.
- Communicating project and team‑member issues/concerns to management.
- Creating and managing project schedules; integrating IDS, ACS and CCTV systems.
- Forecasting and managing project labor hours; communicating effectively with supervisors and subordinates.
- Guiding and mentoring technicians.
- Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; ACTIVE TS/SCI CLEARANCE with the ability to obtain a polygraph is required.
- Key requirements:
requires a valid driver’s license; this position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle; selected candidates must possess an acceptable driving record in accordance with our policy. - Must be able to travel 50% of the time.
- HS diploma or GED.
- Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours).
- Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program.
- Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program.
- Additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities.
- 8+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs.
- 3 years of the above experience focused on electronic security systems.
- Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated time‑management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
- Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills is a plus.
- Must be able to travel 50% of the time.
- Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems (CCURE, Lenel, Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, Bosch BVMS, AIphone Intercom Systems Airphone, FFT, DIVAR, Windows operating systems).
- Experience in installation of said systems.
