Duration: 4 months (strong chance to convert to full-time)

• Level 1 Technicians: $19–$22/hr
• Level 2 Technicians: $23–$27/hr

OT paid at 1.5x.

A large data center build in Manassas, VA requires an experienced team of cable technicians. The initial project is 8.5 weeks, with multiple additional projects lined up. Strong performers will have a high chance of converting to permanent employment.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of data center experience.

Anything less than 2 years is not eligible for consideration.

• Fiber optic cable pulling
• Fluke testing experience
• Copper & fiber termination
• Cable dressing (highly preferred)
• Ability to clearly explain past data center work
• Must pass background and drug test

Technicians must arrive with their own tools.

• Electrician snips
• Basic hand tools (Phillips/flathead screwdrivers, wrench set, socket set)
• Hand drill (preferred; can be provided if needed)

• Onsite in a live data center
• Construction-style setting
• Full PPE required

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chantilly, VA.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 – $27.00/hr.
