A. Hazel, Inc., a total site development contractor for over 60 years, is looking to fill Concrete Finisher jobs to work with our Concrete crew in Northern Virginia.

This position reports to and is under the direction of foreman or superintendent. William

A. Hazel, Inc., operates all over the Northern Virginia Area and in some areas in West Virginia. By applying for this position, you acknowledge and understand you may be required to commute to job sites.

• Mix, pour, carry and spread concrete forms according to specifications.
• Finish surfaces of poured concrete using various tools such as trowels, floats, and screeds.
• Finish concrete for curbs, gutter, and sidewalks.
• Utilize 8 lb. sledgehammer to drive steel pins into the ground.
• Utilize pick to cut through wet concrete for expansion joints.
• Inspect finished work for quality and compliance with project specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.

• Must have a valid driver’s license and transportation.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. as needed.
• Ability to follow directions from competent authority.
• Flexibility in performing various tasks is required to support the team.
