(No driving to Maryland or DC!)

The Lead HVAC Installer will oversee and execute the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems residential replacements. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering superior service. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HVAC installation, a strong understanding of industry standards, and the ability to mentor and guide junior technicians.

• Lead and manage HVAC installation projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Install HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and related equipment.
• Conduct system testing and performance checks to verify correct installation and functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation.
• Provide on-site training and supervision to junior installers and apprentices.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and project managers to coordinate schedules and project requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, including job reports and inventory of equipment and materials.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continually enhance skills and knowledge.
• Other duties as necessary

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or vocational training in HVAC preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC installation, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and installation techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong leadership and mentorship abilities.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials (up to 50+ lbs.).
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
• Capable of climbing ladders, bending, and kneeling as necessary.

• Leads can make anywhere between $25-40 an hour plus bonus opportunities
