WhatYou’ll Do
- Test and inspect fire alarm systems in specified buildings.
- Act as team lead and oversee or direct the work of other Fire Alarm Inspectors.
- Identify and report problems or discrepancies.
- Ensure customer satisfaction for all inspections.
- Handle more complex system tests and inspections.
- Perform after‑hours and weekend inspections as required by customers on an as‑needed basis.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
- Participate in our Recruit Awesome People program, helping us grow Convergint by promoting our colleague‑first culture and referring top talent to the Talent Acquisition Team and hiring managers.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and design drawings.
- Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of, and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted.
- Solid math skills.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Education:
High School/GED or equivalent experience.
- 1 year relevant experience.
- Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic/electrical, fire alarm & life safety, and/or sprinkler systems.
