Auto Dealer Diesel Technician

Join the Ted Britt Automotive Group Team! We are seeking skilled and experienced Automotive Diesel Technicians to join our growing service department. • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, fuel systems, and emissions components.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on diesel vehicles.
• Communicate with service advisors regarding needed repairs and time estimates.
• Ensure all work is performed to manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Maintain up-to-date technical training and certifications.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of diesel repair experience (dealership experience preferred).
• ASE Diesel Certification(s) or manufacturer certification(s) strongly preferred.
• Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools, computers, and specialized equipment.
• Strong understanding of diesel engine systems and emission controls.
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals and wiring diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving and mechanical skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
