Cable Technician

Responsibilities

Interpret cable maps & labels to ensure proper routing and installation.

Rack and stack equipment within racks and cabinets according to industry and site standards.

Pull, route, and stage fiber trunks (including 144-count and 288-count bundles) and manage patch cords for connectivity.

Dress and secure cabling to match designated pathway types such as basket tray or fiber runner systems, maintaining clean and standards-compliant installations.

At least 6 months of experience in data center or commercial cabling.

Experience with structured cabling and fiber installation.

Ability to follow technical documentation and labeling standards.

Familiarity with data center or telecommunications environments is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Entry Level

Contract position based out of Chantilly, VA.

Pay range: $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
