* As a facilities Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of various production use equipment in our facility as well as our general facilities, ensuring they are in excellent condition and comply with safety regulations.
You will perform various tasks related to plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), carpentry, and general maintenance.
Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently are crucial to maintaining a safe and functional environment.

* Perform routine inspections of buildings and equipment to identify maintenance needs and promptly address them.
Conduct repairs and troubleshooting on various systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
Maintain and repair equipment, machinery, and appliances within the facility.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and efficiency of building systems.
Collaborate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or maintenance work.
Conduct regular inspections of safety systems (fire alarms, sprinklers, emergency lighting) and ensure compliance with regulations.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance schedules.
Monitor inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment and initiate purchase requests as needed.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance tasks.
Assist in the planning and execution of facility improvement projects.
Provide support during emergencies, such as power outages, floods, or severe weather conditions.
** Requirements:*
* High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certification or vocational training is a plus.
Proven experience as a Facilities Technician or similar role, demonstrating a broad range of maintenance skills.
Strong knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
Proficient in using maintenance tools and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and external vendors.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to adhere to them.
Flexibility to work outside regular business hours and respond to emergency situations.
