• Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, maintenance, and services on all types of military and commercial generators and HVAC systems used by the U.S. Army, including 150kW EPP III generators.
• Provide maintenance and sustainment support on 3kW to 150kW, 50/60/400
  
  Hz generators involving installation and removal from fixed and mobile locations.
• Diagnose and repair alternating current and direct current systems, electronic control systems, and program logic controls.
• Repair HVAC units, chillers, and environmental control units, including standalone and trailer‑mounted units.
• Maintain commercial power generation equipment, military spec generators and uninterrupted power systems (UPS).
• Operate a load bank during testing and fabricate wire harnesses and solder terminals.
• Execute work in generator shop and field environments; perform other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma (or equivalently 7 years experience); or BA/BS plus 2 years experience; or AA/AS plus 4 years experience.
• Extensive diesel generator experience and knowledge of generator parallel systems and switch gear.
• Experience with brazing copper tubing and evacuating and recharging refrigerant.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. passport valid for at least 2 years.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and international driver’s permit (AAA).
• Ability to pass CRC to deploy.
• Skills in generator repair, HVAC repair/troubleshooting, generator troubleshooting, power generation.
• Section 608 Technician Certification; EPA certification is a plus.
