Maintenance Technician II
The Maintenance Technician II will perform general building maintenance with a focus on electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and mechanical systems. The role involves repairing equipment, maintaining building infrastructure, and supporting critical facility operations, including specialized systems such as boilers, chillers, HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical systems.
More than 5 years of experience in general building maintenance required. Experience working in critical site or facility environments preferred. Experience with HVAC, refrigeration, boilers, chillers, and electrical systems preferred. Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance activities preferred.
Serve as an electrician performing basic electrical repairs and installation of equipment. Perform plumbing duties including installation, repair of pipes, fittings, fixtures, and drain systems. Act as a client for building maintenance including floors, roofs, doors, windows, partitions, and furniture. Operate and maintain tools and machinery used in building trades. Perform minor repairs and general maintenance of air conditioning systems. Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
Follow safety procedures and instructions while performing maintenance tasks. Provide follow-up on quality control issues. Support maintenance of boilers, chillers, HVAC, refrigeration, and other critical facility systems. Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned.
Strong knowledge of building maintenance systems and equipment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good physical condition with ability to stand, walk, and lift as required. Ability to work in mechanically oriented environments.
Electrical maintenance and repair. Plumbing systems installation and repair. Carpentry and building maintenance. HVAC and air conditioning systems maintenance. Mechanical troubleshooting. Use of hand and power tools. Knowledge of building codes and safety standards. Preventive and corrective maintenance.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 5+ years of hands-on building maintenance experience required.
