Fire Service Technician

• Receive and triage service calls from the Service Resource Center.
• Contact customer representatives to ascertain equipment/system problems.
• Diagnose and repair electronic fire alarm systems and related building products at customer sites.
• Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and use technical manuals, part manuals, and bulletins.
• Service, troubleshoot, and install Fire & Life Safety systems from multiple manufacturers, including Simplex Grinnell.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software, programs, schematics and operational product manuals.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate consistently with district staff and customers.
• Complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding on mobile devices.
• Obtain customer signatures upon completion of service calls.
• Participate in scheduled on‑call rotation and after‑hour work as required.
• Mentor and train other service team members.
• Prepare recommendations, quotes, and solutions to improve facility performance.
• Complete and submit all required documentation in a timely manner.

• Minimum 2years documented experience with low‑voltage electrical systems, including Fire/Life Safety, Access Control, Nurse Call and Paging systems.
• Oklahoma Commercial Fire Alarm license or willingness to obtain it.
• Knowledge in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals.
• Familiarity with test equipment such as multimeters, digital analyzers, and commissioning devices.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift and carry 50–70lbs, work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and operate equipment up to 40ft.
• Flexibility to work weekends and after‑hours to meet customer needs.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Retention of all required national, state, and local licenses.
• NICET LevelII certification strongly preferred.
