Responsibilities- Receive and triage service calls from the Service Resource Center.
- Contact customer representatives to ascertain equipment/system problems.
- Diagnose and repair electronic fire alarm systems and related building products at customer sites.
- Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and use technical manuals, part manuals, and bulletins.
- Service, troubleshoot, and install Fire & Life Safety systems from multiple manufacturers, including Simplex Grinnell.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software, programs, schematics and operational product manuals.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate consistently with district staff and customers.
- Complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding on mobile devices.
- Obtain customer signatures upon completion of service calls.
- Participate in scheduled on‑call rotation and after‑hour work as required.
- Mentor and train other service team members.
- Prepare recommendations, quotes, and solutions to improve facility performance.
- Complete and submit all required documentation in a timely manner.
- Minimum 2years documented experience with low‑voltage electrical systems, including Fire/Life Safety, Access Control, Nurse Call and Paging systems.
- Oklahoma Commercial Fire Alarm license or willingness to obtain it.
- Knowledge in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals.
- Familiarity with test equipment such as multimeters, digital analyzers, and commissioning devices.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift and carry 50–70lbs, work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and operate equipment up to 40ft.
- Flexibility to work weekends and after‑hours to meet customer needs.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Retention of all required national, state, and local licenses.
- NICET LevelII certification strongly preferred.
- Competitive starting pay and hourly range $26‑$35.
