Installation Technician

- Work with internal departments to coordinate and schedule all installations from first customer contact to contract closeout.
- Perform welcome calls to each customer within 48 hours of job booking.
- Confirm installation site readiness (construction progress, lift availability, network connectivity, on-site personnel, etc.).
- Coordinate and schedule technicians and subcontracted vendors using scheduling software to ensure timely installation completion, including initial meetings and follow-up visits.
- Build and provide installation job packets with all relevant details and required forms to installers prior to job start.
- Supervise and verify timely delivery of all materials needed to complete installations.
- Update installation progress in the Installation Backlog Tool for stakeholders from booking through completion.
- Authenticate and process vital paperwork to ensure adherence to JCI’s Zero Harm safety policy and timely project closeout.
- Facilitate the closing of each installation with internal departments and through follow-ups as needed.
- Contact customers via telephone, email, or internal programs to coordinate and communicate installation status.
- Collaborate with Sales and National Account teams on installation concerns.
- Coordinate with installers, subcontractors, install managers, and material handlers; liaise with vendors regarding material shipments.
- Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or GED. - At least 1 year of customer service experience.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to communicate in a professional business manner.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and Excel).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (preferred).
- Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment (preferred).

Pay Range: $20.71–$28.08 hourly, rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.
