Generator and HVAC Mechanic – SWA (Bahrain, UAE, Saudia Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan, Iraq)
Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, maintenance, and services on all types of military and commercial generators and HVAC systems used by the U.S. Army, including the 150kW EPP III generators.
Responsibilities- Perform maintenance, overhaul, and sustainment support on 3kW to 150kW, 50/60/400
Hz generators, including installation and removal from fixed and mobile locations, troubleshooting and repair of AC/DC systems, electronic control systems, program logic controls, and electrical wiring and accessories. - Troubleshoot and repair HVAC units, chillers, and environmental control units, both standalone and mounted on trailers/vehicles.
- Maintain all types of commercial power generation equipment, military‑spec generators, and UPS systems.
- Operate a load bank during testing.
- Fabricate wire harnesses and solder terminals.
- Perform work in generator shop and field environments.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Education: High School diploma
- Experience: BA/BS plus 2 years’ experience, AA/AS plus 4 years’ experience, or a High School diploma and 7 years’ experience
- Technical skills: Extensive diesel generator experience, knowledge of generator parallel systems and switch gear, experience with brazing copper tubing and evacuating/recharging refrigerant
- Security Clearance: Secret
- Role requirements: US passport not to expire for at least 2 years, valid US driver’s license, international driver’s permit (AAA), ability to pass CRC to deploy
