Senior Java Software Engineer

Location: Chantilly, VA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java / Spring Developer to support the analysis, design, development, and testing of complex enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java-based technologies, object-oriented design, and full SDLC implementation, with the ability to collaborate closely with business stakeholders.

• Analyze, design, develop, and test new applications and enhancements to existing systems
• Build robust, scalable, and high-performance applications using Java-based technologies
• Apply SDLC methodologies to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business owners to gather and refine requirements
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices

• 10+ years of hands-on Java development experience
• Strong expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring Framework
• Proficiency in Hibernate and Hibernate Query Language (HQL)
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
• Experience working on large-scale, complex systems
• Hands-on experience with JSP, XML, JDBC, and Servlets
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Experience working in enterprise or mission-critical application environments
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
